Buongiorno Roma!!!!

I came to Rome hoping to make the best of an overrated city with spectacular architecture in an amazing country. I left Rome for Northern Italy as a quiet calm city with no connection to it knowing only that I can spend 4 months here the Architecture is worth it. I missed Rome for the familiarity and comfort it offered. I returned to find a new city I loved. The Rome I left is not the same Rome I came back to.

Roma the eternal city, urbs sacracaput mundi, all names that never fit until now. I missed Rome and couldn’t wait to come back but I was not prepared for the city I returned to. People everywhere, music playing from every corner, and piazzas filled perfectly with people and just enough chaos. Being able to walk at anytime of day or night and never feeling alone. Rome has changed I’m not sure if it is the warmer weather, if all of Rome went on a vacation and are finally back, maybe this is the start of tourist season (lets hope not), or it could be the trip up north opened my eyes to a new way of viewing a city. Whatever the reason Rome has become the perfect city to compliment all the architecture found within it. I don’t think I am ever going to want to leave.
